Hey friend,
I had trouble writing to you this month. It’s an indication I need to focus on my self-care.
All I can tell you is this— we are rolling out this new membership program beginning Jan 2021.

October Report
The Joy of Laughter by Stacy Collier
I love making people laugh.
Though I consider myself of average wit, it brings me great pleasure to land a joke, or be silly and entice a hearty belly laugh. Especially from my children, a lover or a close friend. Laughter is a form of play, an essential yet often neglected sense. The ability to play and laugh guides us to a richer and more balanced life. Laughter deepens our connections.

Feng Shui and its Intended Experience
Feng Shui originates almost 6000 years ago during the mid-Neolithic period in Chinese history. Is an ancient method that creates and optimises environments to increase one’s experience of prosperity, joy, abundance and harmony.
“…Feng Shui in ancient Chinese texts was originally Kan Yu, which means ‘observe the ways of Heaven and investigate the ways of the Earth’…” ₁
Play in Season of Crisis by Logan Lee
It’s officially Fall now — At least, that’s what my calendar tells me.
Living in Southern California, the heat actually increases briefly in September/October. Just today, I was outside at my local beach, watching people surf, swim, run, bike and spend time out in the Sunday sun.
This is in contrast to the Midwest, where by now, we would be sipping hot, nutty-flavored lattes, wearing our jackets, and enjoying an afternoon or evening out at the pumpkin patch as the weather starts to turn cool.
It all has me thinking about what it means to be at Play, in a time such as this?
How to Make a Living Without Burning Out by Don Derosier
I had no idea why I was feeling depressed, anxious, and uncertain about the future. I would wake up every morning not excited about going to work. I lost all confidence in connecting with people.
I lost all sense of self. I started drifting. I was burnt out.
I remember I reached out to a friend, someone I looked up to for advice– a mentor. He told me a story when he, too, felt discouraged about his own business.
He had lost most of his clients during this time. He thought about closing up shop and throwing in the towel.
But he decided to try one last thing.
